This is a Edgerton chimneypiece in white marble. A statuary hand carved marble fire surround and mantelpiece based on the Regency period original. The piece features vines and roses in relief to the jambs, lintel frieze and the central tablet. The top of the jambs is decorated with heavily carved floral swag corbels.
